For the love of history.

Ibn Sīnā,or Avicenna (980-1037CE) was an 11th century Persian polymath. One of his most famous works was The Canon of Medicine, finished in 1025.The Canon of Medicine became one of the most influential medical texts to come out of the Middle Ages. It was eventually translated into languages such as Latin, Chinese, and Hebrew, and remained an important text centuries after it was written.
